More of a rundown than a preview, will come back with more analysis next week once this process is completed...
A quick rundown on format, then. The top team in the lottery gets ten chances and each team works its way down, losing one chance for each league position. The Superbowl winning team will receive one chance.
Thus, the worst team has a 10/55 or 18.18% chance of winning the top pick.
The lottery will pull three picks, in order, from #1 to #3. Once pulled, a selection cannot be chosen again for an additional spot in the top three. Finally, picks #4 to #10 will be determined by reverse order of lottery chances. The order for round 2 to 7 will also be determined by the same original lottery order.
First round selections by team:
Brett- 1st, 1st (Curran)
Concannon- 1st
Curran- None
DFlam- None
Lee- 1st, 1st (Malinn)
Malinn- None
Nemo- 1st
Thompson- 1st
Tighe- 1st (DFlam)
TMac- 1st, 1st (Tighe)
A full listing of current assets can be found on the league webpage under the 'Rosters' page.
Now, an embarrassing revelation...everyone take two minutes to consider what this could be.
Ready?
Good.
I have forgotten the password to my Yahoo! account. Therefore, I am unable at the moment to access the league standings. If someone here would like to check and post in the comments, I would be touched. So, here is my best guess at the final standings and, therefore, my best guess at the lottery chances.
Thompson
Malinn
Tighe
Curran
Dflam
Lee
Nemo
TMac
Concannon
Brett
Thus, in order:
Brett- 14 chances
TMac- 11 chances
Concannon-9 chances
Lee- 8 chances
Nemo-7 chances
Tighe- 5 chances
Thompson- 1 chance
Good luck, all.
