Notes and reminders
-Each player’s salary rose by $1 per 30 fantasy points scored
-Dollar amount is the keeper price
-Dollar amount in parentheses is the ‘buffer’
-Buffer is subtracted from the keeper price at the end of the season
-In some cases, a buffer can cause the keeper price to drop from the previous year’s auction price
-All rookies (R), veteran draft choices (V), and free agent signing prior to week 1 (‘V’) received a $0 salary with a $5 buffer
-All auction purchases below $5 received a buffer that, added to the auction price, equaled five
-Thus, a $0 received a $5 buffer, a $1 received a $4 buffer, so on.
-There is no limit on total keepers
-The salary cap is $100 and the roster limit is 18 total players at the end of the auction and a minimum of 25 total players after the seven round rookie draft
Reminder on the ‘Three-Year Rule’
-A player can only be kept two times
-Any player with a $0 salary will not count toward this limit
-Any player that has already been re-signed once will show ‘*’ below- if re-signed again, the player will not be eligible as a keeper in 2013
-Any player that has reached his limit is listed below with ‘Rights’- this player can be matched in the auction but cannot be re-signed pre-auction for any price
Special Exemption: Devin Hester
-Hester’s price dropped after the use of the buffer to bring his keeper price to $0
-Hester was re-signed last year above $0, causing his ‘Three-Year Rule’ clock to begin ticking
-As his price is now $0, re-signing him as a keeper this summer will not cause him to become keeper ineligible in 2013
-A number of player dropped in price after using the buffer but Hester was the only one of those who was kept last year above the $0 price threshold
